DIY Maleficent Inspired Horns. Feeling horny?
Most awesome birthday present ever from my brother, the Game of Thrones pop-up book. Its amazing! It’s so nicely done and there’s all these small pop-up bits as well as the large ones and it works so well. Plus it folds out in a 3D map! Really well designed, I love this sort of thing.

DON’T TELL ME HOW TO LIVE MY LIFE
what magazine is this??!?!?!
This is from Glamour.
I MUST FIND THIS MAGAZINE SOMEONE SENS HELP
Go here and tell them you love kawaii fashion! Lets show them how glamorous we are and that they are missing out! If enough of us message them I bet we can get a page about Kawaii fashion in one of their issues! If you message them reblog this. <3 I am doing it right now! (I run a kawaii community based in the UK). Its not the fact they have kind of insulted a fashion many of us love… but its sad we get no recognition even though there are thousands of us who love this fashion/culture. If I could afford it I’d start my own magazine! However from reading this page spread is apparently pretty old.
Here is an online thread about the magazine page I found https://warosu.org/cgl/thread/7555239
and the original full page:
The original image they used apparently sold to them from this fashion blogger http://www.intrinsicallyflorrie.com/
Please can you clarify what you mean here by “The original image they used apparently sold to them from this fashion blogger”
I would like to clarify that I did not give permission for Glamour to use this image or make any profit from it. I do not in anyway support Glamour’s use of it and neither they or the photographer contacted me about it.
Separate to that, here are some of my thoughts on the issue:
Someone sent me an email with a picture of the magazine article a few days ago, but I haven’t been on Tumblr much lately so I wasn’t aware of this post until a friend told me about it. Thank you so much for all the supportive comments!
A street style photographer who seemed perfectly nice asked me to pose for this photograph back in February 2013. Now, over a year later, it has been sold to Glamour (apparently through Getty?) and used like this. The time lapse is one of the reasons I’m so surprised to see it.
In addition to being extremely annoyed it’s making fun of lolita, I’m appalled by the fact that a fashion magazine thinks that’s an OK thing to do with a street style snap more than the fact that it’s me.
I learned yesterday that when you see a bee on the ground that isn’t moving, it’s not necessarily dead, it’s probably just dead tired from carrying lots of pollen and needs re-energising. So if you mix a tiny bit of water with some sugar and let it drink it will give it the boost it needs to continue on its way. Bizarrely, this exact thing happened today! I found a knackered bee, mixed up some sugar water, gave it a drink and watched it guzzle and guzzle then suddenly come back to life. It was amazing! Thank you patrick, it was an excellent tip that i’ll never forget and will continue to pass on to others!
Taking care of bees-ness!
Wow I’ll be doing this
I love bees!! I can’t believe some people actually go out of their way to kill bees smh….
